Education and Job History
Mr. Kitabatake graduated from Waseda University, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Department of Materials Engineering, and completed his Graduate studies from the School of Science and Engineering, Waseda University.
His main focus of study was artificial bones.
He was employed at a domestic electric appliance manufacturer and dealt with elemental technology development, product design, and production line start-up work. During this time, he has made numerous invention proposals in the fields of mechanics, electronics, fluids, materials, optics, and so on.
After that, he moved to the intellectual property department, where he handled invention consultation, patent search, and patent prosecution utilizing his experience in research and development.
He then moved to a Tokyo patent firm in 2016. He was responsible for invention consultation, patent search, and patent prosecution, etc. mainly for small and medium-sized enterprises and venture companies. He joined Maekawa Intellectual Property Office in March 2018 and started working with S-Cube International Patent Firm in November 2019.
